The TV Snapshot application takes advantage of the market created by the hundreds of thousands of people in Europe who use DVB receiver cards to watch satellite television on their computers. TV Snapshot captures data sent by broadcaster in the satellite stream, saves it on the user’s hard drive and links the data to related Internet content that can be accessed at the viewer’s convenience.
TV Snapshot shows how broadcast data can be linked to interactive content, such as a music video with the related CD on Amazon.
The freeware application is available for download on http://www.tvsnapshot.com. People interested in participating as beta testers can also register on the site.
